Does anyone else think that he doesn't sound quite right? He's reading his comments off a sheet of paper, obviously they've been pre-written. And he sounds out of it.

He said something at the beginning about a stroke...was that real recent?

Anyone? Bueller?

Edit: nevermind, I just answered my own question. Found an article from a Florida news site.

He suffered a minor stroke in May of this year.

As much as we give him, Lou, BBS, and Bobbay a hard time, but after 65, you just don't have it like you once did. With all of them, they should just let them retire gracefully. This makes what Joe Pa does even more amazing.

Brain injurys are bad for your mental health.L heard Corso reference his stroke on today's show.I had noticed him slurring words and confusing facts all year but did not think much about it as Lou Holtz does the same thing. Does this mean we can't pick on Lee anymore?

I noticed that with Corso as well since my father-in-law has had a few strokes it makes you more aware of the subtle differences. I hope Corso does as well as he can, working may be the best thing for him mentally, I know how hard my father-in-law has fought to get back to doing the "normal" things in life.

He wasn't quite right before today but today he is not on his game, looks like a stroke to me.

Corso is an idiot. My Lawyer here in Ardmore played for Corso at Navy.

If you look at his record, he wasn't a very good coach but some of that can also be where he coached.

1969-72 - Louisville: 28-11-3
1973-82 - Indiana: 41-68-2
1984 - Northern Illinois: 4-6-1
Total: 73-85-6

He CFB's version of Dick Vitale, a former mediocre coach who is a great cheerleader and ambassador for the sport.

As an analyst, I can take him or leave him, doesn't much matter to me. However, I hate to hear that he had a stroke.

I feel bad for the stroke, but he has always just been sideshow Lee...without being able to make fun of him, not worth it. The show would have more credibility with a proven winner as a coach in that spot. Like B-Switz. Now THAT would make GameDay more enjoyable!

I would love to see Switz on College Gameday. I think he would be great plus bring more credibility to the show.

Corso is awsome. Regardless of what he says about the teams he is covering, he is a great tv personality. I enjoy watching Corso. I hope he's OK. The man has given his all to college football. Treat him with respect.

Switz is too outspoken for prime time. He always says what he thinks w/o regard to political correctness, but that's what we like about him. Never wears the bull shirt.
