My friend works at a movie theater in Norman and he said the football team came in there to watch a movie tonight and that stoops came in about 30 mins after the team did and he talked to my friend for about 10 mins and invited him to walk on to the team next spring. He is about 6'4" 320. I wonder if stoops has a habit of doing things like this?

I can verify that the team was at the movies. Went to see Couples retreat, stood behind the offensive line in the conscession stand. I'm 6'1" 225 and normally the biggest of my friends, but man did those guys make me feel tiny

You should have just pushed right through them and got your popcorn first. I doubt they would have held you back.

That reminds me of a story I heard about Gabby Reece, the volleyball player/model. She didn't play in high school, but this college VB coach was at her bb game and saw her mom in the lobby. I guess her mom is really tall, so he asked someone to find him the kid that went with that mom, saw the 6ft.+ Gabby and offered her a VB scholarship. He said you can coach a lot of things, but you can't coach 6 feet.

Actually, they would have either "held" you, or they you could've just went right around them!

Don't forget the ever popular leg whip! They might have took you out with that. :eek:
