They conveniently left out all those big 12 titles that they failed to win and that the big 12 trophy's are sitting in OU's trophy cabinet.

Right now I would rather be in Adrian Peterson's shoes than Vince Young's.

The writer shows such class, responding to every negative comment, well actually all of the comments since there weren't any positive ones.

He must be a freshman or sophomore journalism major who thinks he is the next Carl Bernstein . . .

Man, I wish I had an opportunity to turn down a UT scholly to go to OU and end up as the #7 overall choice in the NFL draft on a team that might make it to the Superbowl AND make millions...gawd that kinda bad luck has gotta suck.

Lets see "The Daily Texan" serving the University of Fexas...did you expect anything different? This article just shows his bias and/or ignorance...nothing more, nothing less

As some had/has as their sig, "Texas is a-hole 'nuther country!" My A&M Aggie buddy of mine has always said that the reason that they despise * as much as they do is that they get more credit for doing nothing than anybody out there. They have less conference and national titles than do we. They have less Heismans and legendary coaches than do we. They love to say that it is Texans that make OUr team great; however, four of OUr five Heisman winners are from Oklahoma, and the fifth is from right across the Texas line, where I bet there are more OU, Arky, & LSU fans than * fans.

School paper article, nothing more than pandering to their audience.

or, the author is a wee-person with huge self-esteem issues. The article is so lame that I'm pissed that I wasted 60 seconds reading. it.

Bottom line, more texans have played in Big 12 championships wearing crimson and cream than orange and white. Again, more texans have played in national championship games wearing crimson and cream than orange and white.

At the end of the day, OU is still on top and will be when the little reporter is dead and gone.

That guys an actual columnist at a "real" paper?

That seriously sounds like 7-8 grade writing.

It's not that different than the print and radio journalism at "real media outlets" in Austin.

I don't recall seeing any that bad but then I also ignore most of the Whorn SIO outlets here.

I don't listen to much sports talk anymore of any flavor, national or local. I have never listened to any of the local stuff down here.

"From there everything was downhill for Peterson. His sophomore season he struggled with a high-ankle sprain as the Sooners struggled to win football games, dropping three games including a 45-12 beatdown from Texas."

If by downhill he means being the best RB in the NFL, yeah, its been all downhill.

May be the worst article I have ever read. Surprised he didn't say how badly things have gone for Tommie Harris.
