Coaches were failing to make quality half-time/in-game adjustments then just as they are now. Mostly on the defensive side. But in that 2006 game v UTerus, I think we had 6 turnovers. that is hard for anyone to overcome.

I was glad to see I wasn't on those threads,whew . :)

Fact is bitching about losses and the coaches is an almost ancient ritual.I guarantte if there had been an internet back in 1895 Jack Harts would have been villified.Likewise Bennie Owen, and Bud Wilkinson.I do recall vividly similsr attacks against Barry and his staff,although the forum was newspaper editorials and talk-radio in stead of blogs and message boards.

Julius Caesar would have been bashed becuse his Lions were not dominant enough over the Christians except all his foes were fed to the Lions.
