I haven't rewatched the game but I remember having a question regarding the touchback on one of our punts. Again I didn't see a replay so I might just be dead wrong.

On one of Miami's punts it appeared that one of their players touched the ball before the goalline and then it rolled on the goalline and they called it down at the one. (I believe this was right before Brown's long run).

Then later in the game Caleb (i think) had possesion of the ball at the one and flipped it backwards but it ended up going into the endzone. This time they called it a touchback.

Am I missing something here?>

I think Caleb tried to flip it back but it touched the goal line so it was a touch back. Will have to go back and look at the Miami punt because I can't remember that instance.

What does the rule state though? Just by Caleb's play it was clear he had full control and possession outside the goalline and then flipped the ball back while he was falling into the endzone.
