Because that's all I've seen all night.

Just a thought, but wouldn't one want to maybe throw down field more often to get their secondary to quit playing up so close???

Probably just a lack of confidence in the receivers (by the coaches). If Broyles was in I bet it'd be different.

Can't throw long passes when the line is blocking the way it is.

Uh...I seem to remember Landry throwing a long pass into double coverage to set up our first score. I also remember some long balls last week. He's capable of throwing the long ball. We just don't have the WRs that can get consistent separation and an O-line that is capable of blocking a defense that has speed. That leads to slow developing plays and sacks...so we're left with short passes.

Long passes mean...

The oline has to be able to sustain blocks longer...don't think they can

What I have been saying about this wr corp for a while...cannot, CAN NOT get separation..

he had receivers open twice tonight beyond coverage tonight but your right he had to rush the throw.

Receivers suck. O-line sucks and the coordinator most definitely sucks.
