New HBO series...I like it. :D

Which means it'll either last one season, get really good and last 2 seasons, or go into some weird rotation. eg: Carnivale, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Life and Times of Tim.

yeah, its pretty funny. I like the lead. He was nuts in Spun.

Ted Danson is pretty funny too.

I'm trying to figure Danson's character out. Is he a magazine editor? I'm thinking he could play Bubba Clinton too.

I liked how he compared the efficient Israeli movers to the raid on Entebbe.

I had to explain the reference to the wife, but it really cracked me up.

I have some catching up to do on this show...Ted Danson is comedic genius!

Really liking season 2 of this show as well. Nice contrast in humor to East Bound and Down. Never was really a big fan of Jason Schwartzman, but he does a good job as Jonathan.

Love Ted Danson. Maybe one of the best characters on TV right now.

Galifianakis also brings his usual humor as well.

How great was the Kevin Bacon cameo this week? Hilarious.

This show is really heating up. Last episode was great. I loved the Galifinakis thinly veiled French bulldog and who let the dogs out references. Danson's character could be my favorite on TV right now. Jonathan's white wine consumption cracks me up to no end.

Pretty good ep tonight:

"I've always wanted to try an Asian sausage, do you think they're spicy?"

"are you sure you're the editor of a magazine?"

"Do you wanna get stoned before our massage?"

"hmm, that would make me feel a lot better, of course I do"

Funny stuff right there.

I knew this board could get me out of an OU loss funk. Never would have watched this series without this thread. Thanks.

Funniest scene for me so far is when Ames is running through the city in his gimp outfit and he goes back to right a chair that he knocked over. "Eunuch!"
