Today. Gonna squire my sweetie around the midway, livestock barns and exhibit halls. Will probably consume food items that are unhealthy yet tasty.
Then return to mi casa to watch the Sooners whup up on ThugU, and during commercials, flip over to watch AU beat the Vols.

Basically, your perfect fall Saturday.

That is all.

It sucks.

Last year they had a smaller, crappier Himalaya on the midway to appease me, but it was run by Juggalos and didn't go backwards. FAIL.

It's now the Murphy Brothers State Fair.

I won't be back...ever. At least not for Food or Rides.

Very Sad.

You Tulsa State fair hatrz can kiss my big white behind. It was awesome. I bought me some "Shamwowz" (they're made in Germany and you know the Germans make good stuff), ate a corn dog, drank beer out of a Golden Driller mug, and got to hang out w/Billy Sims.

BOOMER!

Tulsa is the cultural capital of Oklahoma. And will always remain so. That sordid business back in 1907 when some crooks absconded with the state seal in Guthrie and snuck it into that tent city to the south doesn't count.;)

I've been to every Tulsa State Fair since 1983. Maybe it's because I'm older or maybe it's the loss of Bell's, but it's less exciting ever year. I don't have a huge desire to go this year.

Well, it's going to miss your $8.

Hey, they need that $8 to keep the slush fund current.

$6 bucks for seniors, utes and military. And here's another thing, apparently, the rest of NE Oklahoma doesn't share you fair haterz opinion, because you could hardly move at 2pm as the midway and exhibit halls were so packed with folks. srsly.
