It's obvious what he is looking at. He's looking at Sam back pocket. You know, the pocket reflecting visions of cash falling out - the type of NFL cash that comes from demonstrating your NFL type abilities at an elite school like OU. The stache is just thinking "I'm just glad I came to OU where I can get me some 'a dat too". He's also thinking no better time to make him mark than tonight.
