-They haven't invaded anybody in the last 30 years.
-They haven't started any wars in the last 30 years.
- They're surrounded by enemies and invaders.
- They're a sovereign nation.

Yeah I know the little creep is a nutjob, but the mullahs are really in charge. And they are at least more mature.

Not to mention their younger generation might do our bidding for us if left alone.

How about state-sponsored terrorism? Hamas and Hezbollah got their funding, weapons and intell from someone. Their army may not have openly attacked anyone because they've choosen to use surrogates to do the dirty work.

So your comparison doesn't exactly fit.
