My Father started clowning a few years after he quit doing surgery. He began a quest very much like Patch Adams. He didn't endure what Patch did as he was a well respected Surgeon where Patch started from ground zero with his idea. They met a few years ago and Patch asked my Dad to go on his book tour with him. Alas it was not in the cards as Dad was unable to go due to an illness.

All of the above story is to tell you about a day my Father told me about...

Dad and a few Clowns, all in their Clown Outfits, were at the Capital and Henry had signed a document that recognized "National Clown Week" from the State of Oklahoma. As the story goes....Henry took pictures with them all and towards the end he said he suddenly realized that he had been working with a bunch of clowns for years.

Funny guy Henry...

RIP Governor.
