It's kinda like asking Brett Favre in March if he's really retired or not.

did you really think it would?

That's what you get for listening to Traber and Al. At least Mark Rodgers will stake his reputation on things, the Jermaine injury as season ending anyone?

Yes.

I guess I should have known better. I logged in to hear Al and he had just got off a plane and didn't even know about the Griffin injury!

Why are these guys even paid?

I have it on good authority, from a previous neighbor of Sam's third cousin's friends ex-brother-in-law.. that Sam will play.

Bank on it.

Curly Bill is Sam Bradfords grandma and he said that he will play, so take that for what its worth....

He will suit up, but I doubt he plays unless the offense totally fails or something bad happens. I think his start will be Baylor.

My sources tell me he is starting for sure, but not at QB.

Sam is a $70 million quarterback now. His next start will probably be against Texas. Sadly, he'll probably be treated differently the rest of the season.

The answer to this is definitely maybe.

I'm no major college football coach, but if it were my call, I'd start Landry, see how he does, and if I didn't have to put Bradford in for the save, I wouldn't. But that's just me.

If Sam in 100% play him, if he is anything less than 100% don't play him. I have said and still believe that our success in this game depends more on the defense than the offense.

Which is generally true of the game of football. The team with the best defense most always wins, especially if the team with the superior D has a decent kicker.

One needs only to look at the Iowa-PSU game to see that. Iowa's D dominated PSU, and their punter pinned PSU deep several times. I believe that we have a better D, and Miami's O is similar to PSU, but PSU has a better QB and RB.

Paul Thompson will start. And since he's such a good receiver and special teamer, we'll just need to keep guys from jumping offsides so PT can throw passes to himself.

It's a good thing we have someone like Josh Heupel to make that decision.

What does 100% mean? Why does he need to be 100% to play. What % of Sam Bradford equals 100% Landry Jones?

Was Sam 100% against Okie St. last year? No. He wore a brace on his hand that caused some problems, but he still had a great game.

It appears that Sam has been approved to play without fear of making his injury worse. If Josh thinks he'll be more effective than Jones I'm looking forward to seeing Sam again.

The Tebow situation is completely different. He needs to be 100% healed before getting back on the field. His play may actually be back to 100% before the injury is 100% healed. The thing there is the brain injury could easily be compounded, even to the point of death.

I think the reason that ABC picked up the BU OU game is because they are betting (though they probably don't know anything) that will be Bradford's first game back. See you boys at the game.

Probably not unless he can throw the ball down field effectively, which he has not attempted yet. He will not play unless he is fully ready.

I tend to view "able to play" and "ready to play" as two different things. He might be cleared and able to play, but can he be effective? The best of both worlds would be for The Stache to go to Miami and win, which would do a lot for next year and for the team, and then for Sam to triumphantly come home and return in front of his fans the week prior to going to *.

I think if Sam is even 80 % start him.. Now, the reason I say this is Sam deserves to start our first BIG game.. I don't care if you just let Sam play a few downs and then bring in Landry I would start Sam just because he deserves the start.. It would get our fans even more fired up as well and maybe our team..
