Kickoff in Norman is set for 2:30 p.m.

Sept. 28, 2009

NORMAN, Okla. - Baylor at Oklahoma game on Oct. 10 from Norman. The network, which will carry the game regionally, has established 2:30 p.m., as the kickoff time.

Both Baylor and Oklahoma have been battling the injury bug at quarterback. Last Saturday night, the Bears lost Robert Griffin for the season to a knee injury. The Sooners have played the last two games without Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford, who is out with a shoulder joint sprain.

This week, Oklahoma travels to Miami to meet the nationally-ranked Hurricanes. That game also is set for ABC with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m., CDT.

Quote from the "Get Access" pulldown on the espn360 website:

"COX HIGH SPEED INTERNET CUSTOMERS - Congratulations! You will be able to access ESPN360.com with your Cox High Speed Internet service beginning 9/30."

That's awesome and just in time for my first "regional coverage" screwings of the year!

That's cool, but my local ABC station will probably opt for some lame ACC garbage.

At least I have the Game Plan option.

That and 360 if you don't mind watching on the computer. That's what I'll be doing.

I finally got ESPN360 when I got AT&T U Verse and it is definitely very cool and very nice quality games.

I love it. It saved a few games for me last season while I was lucky enough to have a non-cox provider. Now Cox came through just in time and I'm friggin' overjoyed!

References to Cox cable made me want to say SCREW COX but upon reflection there is SOMETHING SOOOO WRONG about that statement. :D

That stinks. I have DirecTV in Florida, and they won't let me get the local OKC channels, so I'm stuck purchasing Gameplan every year. ESPN and ABC still haven't started offering Gameplan in HD, so while the game will be taped in HD, I won't be able to get it in HD.

I would rather have FSN. At least then I can get the game in HD.

This would be a good time to go on a major run with solid victories. Will go much further toward moving up in the polls than all our bitching.

Interesting that this game was picked up, especially after Robert Griffin was lost for the season.

ESPN wants a chance to say we look shaky since we only win by 50 with their QB out.

Maybe. They would also tape my sister and wife kicking my butt. I guess I could post that here for everyone's enjoyment.
