where's gameday this week? i would've thought USC/CAL but after Cal got waxed, it doesn't seem so "great".

Weird, I would have thought it'd be the 2:30 game because Miami lost and they no longer wanted our game in primetime. I'm not a big fan of night games on the road.

If we can't beat the Miami team that just looked like crap against Virginia Tech in primetime, we don't deserve being in the NC hunt anyway.

Bring it.

Maybe a prime-time arse whipping of Miami will help us in the polls...

Dang! This means I now have to find a hotel. I was planning on driving home (Orlando) if the game was at 3:30 EST, but I don't feel like trying to drive home from midnight to 4:00 in the morning.

Anybody have any suggestions for cheap, SAFE hotels in the Miami area? I have never been.

If Cal had beaten Oregon, I'm pretty sure they would have given USC-Cal to the entire country. With the way things turned out, it looks like they'll split the country down the middle.

At least we should get Big 12 refs...that's good right... (grasping at straws).

Anyway in the prime time slot, more people will watch our D-line eat Jacory Harris up and then the egregious error in the polls will be fixed. Bring it.

Try the Embassy Suites a few blocks north of the Ft Lauderdale airport.
That is where we always stay.
It is only about 30 minutes or so from the stadium.

this hotel info is from the Suncoast Sooners Club. I received it tonight by email.

Hi all,

In case you haven't yet made hotel reservations for the OU game in Miami...

The OU Alumni Club in Miami is hosting a happy hour on Friday night at the Don Shula Hotel in Miami Lakes. This hotel does not have any rooms available on Friday night. However, rooms are available on Saturday night.

The Don Shula Hotel has a "sister-property" - Hotel Indigo. This hotel is available on October 2 & 3. Hotel Indigo is located 8 miles from Landshark Stadium and one-half mile from the Don Shula Hotel. There is a shuttle between the two hotels. Guests at the Hotel Indigo have privileges at Shula's Athletic Club, Shula's Golf Club, tennis courts, pool and spa. Check out the websites for more information.

Don Shula Hotel - 6842 Main Street, Miami Lakes
http://www.donshulahotel.com/

Hotel Indigo - 7601 Miami Lakes Drive, Miami Lakes
http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/in/1/en/hotel/miain?rpb=hotel&crUrl=/h/d/in/1/en/mapsearchresults

I will be staying at Hotel Indigo on October 2 & 3. Is anyone interested in golf on Saturday morning?

Hope to see you all Friday night at Shula's and at the tailgate party on Saturday.

Go Sooners!

Well this sucks...I'll get the dumbass Pac-10 game on the TV and Cox cable internet doesn't carry ESPN 360. I knew I'd get screwed at some point this year.

Honestly...if we drop the Miami Game...we won't probably get a shot at the NC game even if we won the Big XII CG.

I guess there might be an outside shot if everyone else dropped some games....but losing two Non Con games like byu and miami would be devastating IMO.

Cox Tulsa will make 360 available Sept 30th. I don't know about Vegas Cox.

I guess I'll never know...after all, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...or so they say.

According to espn360.com, all Cox customers will have access starting Wednesday 9/30.

Oh, and soonersports is saying that the Baylor game will be 2:30p regional on ABC.
