This girl...she lacks talent. She really really sucks.

And yet she's #1 on the iTunes singles chart. Un-freaking-believable.

I'd never really listened to her music until yesterday when I managed to listen to all of "Party in the USA." God....teenage girls will buy up the ****tiest music.

I had to put on the new Pearl Jam album to cleanse my auditory palette.

welcome to the wonderful world of "tween" marketing. never too early to colonize children with advertising and their own niche marketing.

Miley is awful. she's got "bad crazy as an adult" written all over her. a few too many fried chicken strips here and there, some weird puberty, and her face will start to look like a cather's mitt....and then the crazy train is leaving the station.

All of the wife's co-workers ask if we have sat radio and the disney thing. I say, "No friggin way" and they look at me in some sort of puzzled manner like I have antlers or something. I let my kid listen to my music (the g-pg rated stuff) and some kiddie tunes that are played by local acts. Of course, the miley stage is to come later. My only hope is that we end up in or near a college town where she can be subjected to better music. The issue is, suburbia can do that to kids- it's a mall groupthink issue.

Once you've heard her Dad's Music...you"ll understand why your just now beginning to understand what exactly happened.

It's the best marketing scheme I've ever witnessed. You have to be impressed with the jack her and her Father have pulled down from all of this. It is incredible IMHO.

Oh yeah...even my own Daughter (11) knows Taylor Swift is da **** and Mylie is just a "Saved by the Bell" / "Partridge Family" success story.
