Kinda Off Topic:

But we should recruit my friend:

#60 on ESPN's Top 150 for 2011, and #1 with kickers. Pretty damn cool how fast he's gotten up there, I think. It's not like my school has ever been any good at football, let alone have people go to any college.

Is OU his favorite right now? He will have to be REALLY good to get a schollie as a kicker.

We need someone that can kick the stinkin' ball passed the 15 on the kickoff. How about that?

I don't understand the reluctance to use schollys on top kickers. Mike Nugent was a critical piece of the tOSU team that won the BCS title in '02. Then there are lots of position players than never pan out - even 4/5 star guys.

Exactly, having a great kicker is a valuable weapon.

We always need a great kicker in the wings, but how likely is your friend to leave the state of Indiana?

Unless Way or Stevens quits I don't really see a kicker scholly availible. It is rare for OU to have two scholly kickers but THREE? Don't see it.

I saw Tress Way's little* brother play against Jenks. That kid put on a kicking clinic. I believe he is a Junior.

* I say little, but he is 6'8"

Way's brother, Cole is a Senior. Stands 6' 11" and has an excellent leg. He was a dominant soccer player from the age of 5....................kicking goals from distances on the field that other teams could not believe.

He is good!
