If Landry beats both of them then I'll eat my hat. Sorry, I just dont see it. He's going to have a few games this year where he's going to look very average, and I'd bet a lot of money that it will happen against one of those two teams.

my prediction is Sam will be healthy for the Miami game. But Jones will start

I can see that - hoping that LJ can get the job done and buying Sam another week. If LJ isn't getting the job done than turning it over to Sam.

Don't know that I like the idea too much though. I think it could hurt the team's preparation and mindset.

Yea, but Sam will get a lot of playing time and then start at in Dallas. LJ will have to wait until next year to be a starter after Miami.

There is not a snowballs chance in hell that if Bradford is healthy enough to play that he isn't going to start. Bradford is the reigning Heisman winner. I don't care how good a game Jones had against Tulsa he is not going to leave the best player on the team on the bench and let a redshirt freshman start. Not happening

I don't think Sam will be 100% healthy for Miami. so that's why i don't think he will start.

I see what you're saying, but OU's offense doesn't really set up to allow 2 QB's to interchange, at any point.

I think Stoops will either roll with Bradford, banged up if he still is, or sit him out an extra week and roll with the Mustache Mafioso and let Sam lick his wounds another week.

IMHO

Don't know that I like the idea too much though. I think it could hurt the team's preparation and mindset.I listened to Merv this Saturday and he says the 4 week prediction looks on the money from what he has seen of Sam in rehab.Merv is usually right on about those things. For example a couple years back the day of the ISU game Merv told me that Brown was ready to play moreso than Madu or Murray. The reason that is relevant? The ISU game is where AD went down.Media sources all over the state (including a certain ex-OU qb)were saying Mau was the man.As it turns out,MERV was right,Brown was the guy .

Bsed on that I think Sam could well be ready forthe U.Given that the #2 gets only about 25% of the practice reps at qb ,I do think if Sam is able, he will start.

I would love to have Sam back by Miami, but honestly, I think our success down in Florida is going to depend more on how our D performs rather than Landry or Sam...

AD was healthy enough and cleared by the medical staff to play OSU in 2006, but the coaches held him out til the Fiasco Bowel. The staff will undoubtedly study them both and determine whether a hotshot freshman or a battered Heisman plays.

I thinks the QB spot is the least of the worries. Will Caleb step up once again, will we get a TE to step up? Will D. Franks step back up to level that he played at last year? Most of all will the O have long drives to keep the D off the field, which some think that this makes no difference! I think the D line is getting to where they should be, they looked the best against Tulsa so far!!! Harris from what I've seen lofts the ball, we should be able to make plays on the ball, and I think we have to get to the QB all night long! I like OUr chances!! 35-10 OU!! BOOMER!!
