In a way I liked the tribute. In another way I thought that had to be really hard for his son.

Definitely. But it was a very nice gesture.

Here's an article in the Tulsa World about his son and the game.

Tulsa World - Emotions not to blame, Bryan says (http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/TU/article.aspx?subjectid=94&articleid=20090920_94_B2_NORMAN830612)

I like his Son. He's a Competitor just like his Dad. I hope he continues to follow in his Dad's footsteps. Good Luck the rest of the way Mike!

"I thought about my dad a lot today. Seeing that stuff (written) on the press box, the All-America stuff, the video they played, it was an honor and I gave them permission to play that. I appreciated that," he said.
