I'd like to have a shot of what Herbie was drinking tonight. During the Tech game he had Miami at #5. Now, while I hope this happens for us, to have a chance to beat the #5 team at home, to go from #20 to #5 is craaaaazy talk.

Herbie has been around Bevo's crap for too long and it's gone to his head.

LSU is not that good, having said that they may still beat Florida at home

They are not a top 10 team, this is the Top 10 rankings. UW is a 6 win team, USC is extremely overrated as they have been since 06.

i think he explained it well. he set it up by saying that if you drop the preconceived opinions of the preseason and just look at the teams, he thought Miami was a top 5 team

the preseason rankings are way too important, and shifts like that really need to happen

once the Harris and BCS computers come out, they are based more on reality

herbie has been waiting for the first possible chance to gnaw the root of Miami.

it wasn't that long ago he picked them to win the BCS title, back in Brock Berlin's senior year... you know, that one that got Coker fired.

PSU, as much a like Joe Pa, should get a N/A until they play somebody. That might start this week against Iowa.

They may not be number 5 after this week, but they do play Va. Tech next week. If they win that game, they could very well be around 5 when we play them.

Good luck with that. The big ten is one bye week after another.

I am hopeful that both Miami and texas will be rated higher than OU when the Sooners play them.

Yeah, I agree. My office is littered with PSU/ Steelers fans. One of them jokes with me that he will only talk to people whose teams are undefeated. I retort to him is that I will start hanging around with him once they decide start to play somebody.

Herb's new sweater vest is way to tight. It's cutting off the circulation to his brain.
