Out of curiosity, how do you people like to lace your shoes?
Personally, I prefer the over/under style.

i'm not real proactive on that front. however they come, i stick with it. there is one style i don't understand you get with kitchen shoes or whatever that is staggered across the loopholes. i don't get (or like) it.

better is none. sandals, clogs and other commie shoes for me.

I always had Sic'em pegged for a velcro only type guy.

as nostalgic as he is for the 80's...that's for real. maybe one of those OP pullovers with no sleeves and a hood, too.

hehe.

i'm still on you Sic for that "abandon eastern Europe" thing vs. your former isolationism/Pat Buchanan love.

It's an inconsistent position on my part. You're right to pound me on the point.

Back on topic...

I did have some retro-radical velcro sneakers as a kid back in the 80s, but I honestly hated velcro. The little flaps would come loose and then collect dirt, grass, and other debris and then they never would "stick" well. Hated 'em.

FWIW...

On sneakers I use the everyday old criss-crossing method.

On dress or casual dress shoes I use what that site would call the European lacing. It looks better.

Straight bar for dress, criss cross for leisure/fun.
