yeah, I don't think it matters to OU if BYU wins this game really. In fact OU just needs to win each game and have those ranked higher to lose. One of those being BYU

However I want BYU to win.

we need ALL the teams on our schedule to win their games (except when playing OU). It helps our SOS.

I with spacecadet. We want em to lose now so they fall below us, but have a chance to increase their ranking by winning the rest of their games.

Florida St. has scored every time it has touched the ball. Was our offense really playing that bad against them or what?

bringit
9/19/2009, 07:24 PM
FSU 4 drives for 4 TDs (1 missed pat)
BYU 3 drives 1 lost fumble 2 TDs

It was the sloppiest game I've ever seen and I've watched a bunch of drunk midgets play before.

Man you guys must be noobs. BYU DOES NOT play in a BCS conference, therefore, the BEST they can do is the Fiesta Bowl. Duh.

Just goes to show you how inexperience the OU line was and how not going vertical and challenging their DB's hurt us.

One of poorest coaching jobs ever IMO

wow. TD on every drive except for the end of the half when time was expiring. Miami's looking better and better all the time.

Total yards about the same. BYU with 3 turnovers.

again, BYU was an average team that faced us w/out our Heisman winning QB, our all-world TE, and a makeshift OL

had we lost everything a week before hand and had time to prepare...things would've been different

BYU was S-L-O-W -- really no excuse but still....perfect storm against us

to put things in perspective, Tulsa beat up on Tulane the same way BYU did.
Sure Miami beat FSU, but FSU barely beat jacksonville state.

in the end nobody really knows. Just play the games and see how it turns out.

I don't really care about who wins out, OU lost a game and things are beyond their control. The only thing they can do is win out and things will more than likely take care of themselves. There hasn't been an undefeated champion since the VY team and LSU won it with two losses. The days of undefeated teams making it into the championship are probably much slimmer, most of the teams have a conference foe that can take them down even if they play no one out of conference. Look at USC the past few years (Washington today, Oregon State last season) and Florida last season, they didn't lose to the teams that everyone thought they had a chance to lose to.

BCS Champions
1998 Tennessee (13-0)
1999 Florida State (12-0)
2000 Oklahoma (13-0)
2001 Miami (12-0)
2002 Ohio State (14-0)
2003 Louisiana State (13-1)
2004 Southern California (13-0)
2005 Texas (13-0)
2006 Florida (13-1)
2007 Louisiana State (12-2)
2008 Florida (13-1)

Calm down guys this is the same FSU that struggled against Jacksonville St.(which who was killed by Grambling today) BYU is just getting owned right now...they dont have 3 +months to prepare for anyone anymore

another INT for Max.

When you look at the box score and see FSU 11-13 on 3rd downs and the recipient of 5 turnovers, there's the story

if we were to play BYU today the outcome would be alot different. we just had some bad luck with sam going down, and not having gresham-- not to mention the o-line issues. i think we are starting to find our groove, i'm just glad that our loss was the first game to a then ranked opponent. after today, and if we take care of business in the upcoming games, the BYU loss will be a distant memory. every single one of the top 10 teams look vulnerable. keep the faith and BOOMER!

Jacksonville State is a tad better than Idaho State. The Bengals are whipping boys in FCS.
