My love for the UW Huskies knows no bounds right now! Serious mancrush!

Actually, no need for it to be a man crush. It can be a babe crush. Let me explain. The Huskies turnaround didn't start today. It start earlier in the summer. The Washington Huskies female softball team won the NCAA championships. They won primarily because of one player. Her name is Danielle Lawrie (a Canadian actually). She is amazing to watch pitch - one game she strikes out 21 batters and the next day she hits a grand slam home run. She also won the MVP award for the year.

I remember seeing (on tv) Jake Locker (Huskies QB) at the softball championship games - his girlfriend is on the softball team also. I think the female softball win reminded the football players that the Husky program is a winning program. I think it told them that they are not a 0 -12 program.

So, a long story to say that your crush should really be on Danielle Lawrie, a babe. Now, isn't that a better deal? :)

Without using "eh" in every second sentence we wouldn't be able to have conversations :eek: .

You know, we get our milk in bags here in Canada and I didn't even know (until recently) that people outside of Canada don't have bagged milk. I found out about it in the attached You Tube video. The girl in the video is pretty funny. She talks about it. This is 1 video in her "Ask a Canadian" video series. In this video she also explains about a popular Canadian dish called poutine. It's good for a laugh or 2 if anyone is interested in watching.

You have to feel good for those U-Dub kids (BTW, their thug who injured DeMarcus is gone now). Going 0-12, and then you beat SUC, that must feel good. Like I have said before, the PAC-10 isn't as enamored with SUC as the rest of the country is.

Like I have said before, the PAC-10 isn't as enamored with SUC as the rest of the country is.I live amongst Pac-10ers, and anecdotally, of course, most of the ones I talk with don't have the disdain for suc that us Soonerfans do. I think that since nobody else in the Pac 10 does so well on the national stage, they even pull for the suc, out of conference pride.
