Vikings star Adrian Peterson joined the show to discuss this season and more ...
-- Peterson said it's very possible he could set the single-season rushing record this year.
"A big part of that is our defense," Peterson said. "Our defense keeps us on the field. They get three and outs and give us more possessions."
Peterson also said that Brett Favre opens things up for the running game.
-- Dan asked Peterson what it's like to play with Favre. "It's amazing. I would say he's everything I would imagine," Peterson. "You kind of hear about his style -- about how he might go in and change a play that a coach calls. I've seen hints of that already. Call different audibles or sending running backs on a different route."
-- Dan asked Peterson where he would rank his 64-yard run against the Browns in Week 1 among his all-time best plays. Peterson said top 10.
"I had a similar run in college that might have been a little better than that one," Peterson said.
Peterson said that he did know the defenders he ran by, including former teammate Brodney Poole. Dan asked Peterson if he felt bad. He said "yaaahhh .... NO."
