Texas lost control of their destiny when Crabtree got loose. Bottom line. We lost control of our destiny in October of last year. Tech lost control of their destiny when we throttled them in our place.

Just so happens we had a stronger schedule and we won big in a lot of games at the end of the year. We were a record-setting O last year. We edged Texas in the BCS rankings and destiny sent us to the Championship Game. If it were Texas' destiny to be there, they would have been.

Proof positive is in the voters that deliberately tried to sabotage OU and failed.

We're going to hear a lot of this the next few days... helps hype up their Saturday night special a little more.

And since Harrel and Crabtree are no longer there, I can't get all that excited about this game. If there are others like me, they might need to hype it up to make it Saturday 'prime time' worthy in terms of viewership.

I wasn't saying they would. Just that when you play a 'revenge' game against a team the NEXT year when the STARS on that team are gone, it's sort of like getting beat up by a kid at school and then going and beating up his little brother for revenge... they're not the same team.

The hypesters will want to hammer the controversy from last year angle so they don't have to talk about how Harrell and Crabtree are gone quite as much.

Then, when * wins by even a single point, they'll talk about how * got their revenge.

If that bothers you, might as well mute the TV this weekend.
