You are so bored with this Miami/Gah Tecc game that you notice that OU's 64-0 win over Idaho State was the 10th shutout in Stoops' 11 years at OU.

Start naming off the other nine - one per poster at a time.

Who can forget this... little know stat that you have to check the Switzer Center to see: Trey DiCarlo set a Sooner record for most extra points in a game at 11.

We only led 3-0 after the first quarter, but piled on 17 points in the second and 21 in the third, respectively. RB extraordinaire Q had three of our TD's that game.

Affectionately known as the Red River Shutout, Texas was ranked No. 5. All Day had 225 yards as this victory marked "FIVE IN A ROW! FIVE IN A ROW!"

I think this was one of the few games recently to not get on television. Looks like TV didn't miss much of a fight, heh.

UTEP 68-0. 2002

OU last met UTEP in the season opener of the UTEP nat'l title year of 2000. Wasn't this the infamous rain game?

11-20-2004 Baylor 35-0

This must have been why Baylor was so tough the next year. While we shut them out in 04, Baylor put a scare on OU fans (and a lot of traffic afterwards) at home in Norman in 05, forcing the game into OT... however, Baylor has yet to beat OU... ever.

That's all of them! Stay tuned for Dr. Lou!

:D Dr. Lou, Dr. Louuuuuu...

You can guess any team you want. :) OU isn't one of them. Hint: We played one of them last year and we play the other one next year.

Awww... I only started this thread because I saw that stat on the scroller during the Miami game and I knew you guys would all have the answer if I pulled it off as a trivia thingie. I didn't know the answer... there, I said it.

Ok, going back to watchin' the game now. C ya :D

One of my favorites. I loved when they showed the OG&E Power Play of the Game on the jumbotron - it was when we stuffed Mizzou on a 4th and inches on the goalline. The next play after they showed that we ran a punt back for a TD and the student section started shouting "NEW POWER PLAY!"

Heh.

1. OU/Tulsa '02 was 3-0 OU at the half. The announcers struck me as being almost giddy at the upset possibilities before the guys pulled their heads out in the second half.

2. OU/BU '05 actually went double OT. Hartley hit a 39 yarder at the end of the 1st OT to save our bacon.

3. OU/UTEP '02 was the rain game. OU/UTEP '00 was the 106 degrees at a 6 PM kickoff game. They were carting people off in droves.
