It seems kind of odd to be 27 and having to see an orthodontist, but on the upside, my teeth look great.

Actually with the frost scare, we had a very busy day as most of the grain commodities touched limit up today.

i've had braces 3 times so far...last time I got them off I was 36. I still have a permanent retainer behind my lower teeth - and I might have to have them one more time. I might have to have surgery on my jaw and if I do, they will have to put braces on me once more for about 6 months.

Have you considered just having them pulled and switching to dentures?

oh hell no.
1. it wouldn't fix my jaw problem
2. i've spent thousands of dollars on this beautiful smile and i am not getting rid of it.

Some people do just fine without a jaw. Maybe it's time for yours to go?
