...I'm really looking forward to tonight's doubleheader, but the last two years I've had to turn off the games.

The announcing was worse than rubbing a cat on a chalkboard.

The games were both awesome, though.

Well...outside of Buffalo handing the game away.

Somewhat related...

But I saw a blogpost somewhere that referred to Tony Dungy as a breath of fresh air because he broke down a Peyton Manning pass play during the Indy-Jax game.

It was refreshing because it was a break from the normal "meatheaded" analysis of 'he's got more heart...they just have to want it more...he's a warrior!'

In other words, you actually came away from that segment having learned something about the game that you didn't know before!!!

WHAT A CONCEPT!!!!

Well, Jon Gruden has been getting raves for his commentary, but last night he said, (paraphrasing) "No QB in the league does more, pre-snap, than Tom Brady."

Uh, hello...Peyton Manning? Not even close.

He's getting caught up in the ESPN doctrine of "this game = best ever" that makes Thursday's Conference USA games become the battle of the titans.
