My prediction is that before the Uterus game, we will be at #8. I wonder if we move up, and let's say that BYU loses, how many people will consider their win against us as a fluke without the Heisman Trophy winner. Especially if we beat UTerus. Again, this is set up for a crazy season.

Other than Florida, I don't know if there are any other really good teams out there this year.

And I tell ya' that FLA is going to lose, as well. They are running the "Meerkat" offense, they just haven't played anybody who can do anything about it.

I hate polls. In a league where it is often the case that 'every game is a playoff' how can any voter rank teams like this.

The only way people will consider BYU a fluke is if SB comes back and we go and beat Miami on the road and Texas in mid October, then people will realize that alot had to go right for BYU to beat us

2 first place votes for Alabama gives them their 187th MNC. Congrats, Tide.

That's what I'm saying, if we beat Miami and UTerus, then I think it would be hard not to think that.

Yeah, but it would have been nice for them to ranked in the TOP 5 when we catch 'em down the road. Provided that Texas can keep their act together, that could be our our only TOP 10 win.

A long way to go and lot to shake out.

all I am going to say is that the pundits and all the OU hate mongers will need to remember the BYU loss. Especially the Texars folk. IT WILL PLAY SOME PART in the scheme of things. I just have this feeling. Its early, still a lot of ball but.....lets hope they dont have short memories.
