Sooner Starter

Also, I'm a little concerned with the receivers (maybe I shouldn't be). Help me out here....Adron Tennell, Ryan Broyles, Gresham @ TE, Madu/Murray in the slot. Don't we have a few other new players (juco maybe?) Who are they and how are they looking? My only concern is...how big are the shoes of Iggy and Johnson and are they filled?

Looks as if I had every right to be concerned? Iggy and Johnson are proving to be big shoes to fill. Thoughts?

We better find some receivers fast....before Miami.....Broyles can't do it by himself.

Remember when Pooh was supposed to be our go-to guy?

I think they should give Rashad Hutchins a chance, I seen him in a couple of the practices and he was pretty explosive, he just short thats his downside..but he sure as hell can do just as well as Tennell

Broyles is really all we have at WR. The other 2 starters have not been very impressive.

What was with the rave reviews on Cameron Kenney? Alligator arms on a play against Idaho St? Wait till he gets in the Texas game. They are faster and hit harder.

I think our coaches had crimson colored glasses on regarding talent at certain positions. Remember the comments about the o-line a couple of weeks before the BYU game? Seemed like things were looking good.

Caleb will step up. I expected a little more from Madu. Kenney has got me worried. I don't even want to talk about Tennell.

Manny and Iggy were not explosive...They just hung on to the ball and found the soft spots in the defense.

If our receivers held on to the stupid ball our offense would be great

Tennell may as well be a ghost on the field. Has he evan caught a ball yet this year?

Disclaimer: I should know whether Tennel has caught a ball since I have watched both games, but there was drinking involved. I'm sure most of you understand.

Agree, and finding the soft spots has to do with experience as well... we do have young recievers

Pooh needs to spend less time on Facebook, and more time on Playbook.

94 - Tennell caught 2 against BYU, but nothing tonight. I had drinking at my house - obviously not enough.

Broyles was a stud tonite. They do need someone to step up. I think caleb will do well.

Tennell has dropped more than he's caught this year. He dropped 3 against "good Mormon to ya." We were really counting on him this year. I don't think he even played a whole lot tonight. I only remember seeing him a few times. But man it's hard to see the players numbers in standard defintion. We're spoiled with HD.

Good, so I not totally oblivious to what goes on during the games.

A buddy of mine said during the game tonight, "What if Stoops didn't give Broyles a second chance?"

Yikes! I don't even want to think about that.

Yeah, and if he keeps his nose clean we will have him for 2 more years. He has massive potential.
