The shuttle-bus line at halftime was longer than it was at the END of most games tonight.

I stayed until the final gun. Ended up me and Phil the only ones on an entire row.
Damn if I wasn't gonna see my first win in 2009, after being 0 - 2.
My iPhone stopped working...wet. My toes and fingers are shriveled up.
Don't care.

84,000 was how many tickets were sold, not how many peeps showed up, right?

Na they scan your ticket when you enter. That is the real number of people that showed up. Suprising.

I stayed and will have to pay a tow truck to get my grocery getter out of the ditch tomorrow. Me and the boy walked until a taxi passed by and we flagged him down. Where I was parked was so muddy i could not get out. Anyway, my boy was having a good time.

Yeah it looked pretty full on TV when the game started. I believe 84,000. I'm ready for Tulsa!

i was at the game, and from the student section it looked like every seat was filled. f'n awesome.
i noticed osu couldn't fill up their stadium in what appeared to be slightly better weather conditions, against a much better team (more hype), and they have the high school size stadium. typical.

Yup.....surprised? I'm not. Can't even fill a brand new 60,000 seat stadium fresh off a program-defining win with a #5 ranking. Typical OSU. Nothing surprising here. Little sister at its best.

Yea, the student section was pretty pumped :D Probably just because it was the first home game, but still, it was great tonight.

beep beep back that truck up..... if the below note from the Oklahoman is correct we dont need to be patting ourselves to hard on the back.
Brandon booed
A week ago, Cory Brandon drew five flags in the Sooners’ 14-13 loss to Brigham Young. On Saturday, he was booed during pregame lineup introductions. Brandon’s most costly penalty against the Cougars was a false start on third-and-nine with just under two minutes to play. The penalty put the Sooners into a third-and-14, where a Jones incompletion forced Tress Way to kick a 54-yard field goal instead of a 49-yarder.
Although he was introduced as a starter, Brandon began the game on the bench, replaced by Tyler Evans at right guard.
I may question and try to understand better what the coaches are trying to accomplish in games when I dont understand what they are trying to do....
BUT
I'll never boo OU players on the field, no matter what.....

That is the same section as my dad's tickets (Section 21/Row 55) that we use when we go to games up there. I haven't talked to him yet today but he was probably there until halftime, those deluge/blowout games tend to lead to that for many.

This is exactly why it is so great to be an OU fan. Proud of eveyone who attended last night and wish I could have made it myself.

Very happy when I saw the attendance, and loved it when Landry got the loudest applause--awesome, I think the team really needed to hear it.
