Yes, it was *just Idaho State but the guy played with heart and showed some impressive numbers and decision making. I, for one, was very impressed!

Hell - I thought it was awesome how much of the crowd shown at the beginning of the PPV had the stache! Maybe there really is power in the stache!

I feel Landry did a heck of a job tonight, not to mention the rain. The WR's on the other hand, need major work...minus Broyles.

Thought Landry did a heck of a job. His passes were crisp and, for the most part, well on target. Tonight gave him a chance to work out any kinks.

Fear the Stache!!!!!

very good job- considering he had only one WR open all night plus a check down to the RB's. I didnt see the game but just the stats.

WR's need some major work. We need atleast 3 studs to compete with the big boys and right now we only have one. I thought Calhoun and Miller looked very good in the time they had. I believe each had a TD??

yeah our real ? marks are our recievers, pooh just seems like he cant get any separation...Good job Landry!! the stache is rockin!! he did well except for the int and a couple of times he could have taken the underneath route instead of the deep man

Landry had few bad decisions. The pick and another would have been a pick 6 for 95 yards. Only a couple bad tosses. Overall, nice job though. I like him.

This.

I can't say I liked his play as good as last week because of a few bad decisions but this is what I'd expect for a young QB. You can definitely see his up-side and future potential though.

I think it's just going to take a little more time for him to know when not to throw the ball. I felt he got a little comfortable and tried to force a few. But like you said, he'll be good.

Broyles is the only reliable receiver we have; someone else needs to step up pretty damn soon or we're screwed; good defenses will double him and dare someone else to beat them

It's funny how I was scared about our WR's about a month before the season started...and everyone assured me they'd be better than last year. My gut feelings are starting to **** me off. Kind of like when I turned to my dad at halftime of the BYU game and said, "I have a bad feeling about tonight." I need some good gut feelings for a change!

Two of those TD's he threw were unbelievable. That one to the left edge of the enzone, while on the run he threaded a perfect pass to a well-defended receiver.

I'm alot less nervous about the interim QB situation now.

Landry did a good job tonight. Made some good throws and some good check downs. He needs to work on not staring down his receiver so much but that will come with time and experience.

I'll say it again. I think Caleb will step up and be a playmaker. He just needs to get better seperation.

He will do good against zone defense if he can find the soft spots, separation doesnt come over night, you have to be fast

He will get much better as he gets more reps and becomes more comfortable out there. Biggest thing I saw was a tendency to throw at the receivers feet when rolling out. I started having flashbacks of Bomar.

Landry is a stud. Looks good and will be even better with more experience. Makes a few mistakes but that is understandable.

But I really wish he would shave the mustache. I get comments at work about it. People at work know I'm an OU fan and ask me why our QB has an 80's porn mustache.

Just read the ESPN story on the game and it mentioned the fans at the game started chanting "Landry" at one point. I'm glad they did. That's got to feel good to a freshman qb and he deserves the support.

Landry Jones is making progress but several times today he threw into double and at least once, triple coverage. There's gonna be WRs more open.

I wouldn't mind at all if he took a step back, turned upfield and then just ran over someone. He looks pretty big out there. I'd like to see his toughness.

Anyone notice when Nimmo came in late in the game at QB? He went back to pass and here came that LB totally unblocked up the left side causing a fumble. They still haven't fixed that problem yet, tho those were just scrubbs in there at that point.

 5-0

Boomer Sooner!!!!!

We have our QB situation a little more settled. Defense is a monster... next up is Tulsa. Need to get some work in before Miami.

And then Texas!!!!

Landry did a great job, but I want Bradford back for that game!
