Largest gathering of Patriotic, Freedom-Loving Americans in history? Grif Jenkins on FoxNews said the crowd is over a mile long. I've heard talk of tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, no real estimate given yet. There are other demonstrations around the country, but this is the Big One! Is any other news organization but Fox talking about it? This Tea Party will be covered by FoxNews for the next couple of hours(12-2PM Central time)

When you have large groups of people congregating in one location (particularly in DC), you're bound to have some stupidity slip out.

I think the larger point of the tea parties still stands in that some people are fed up with the spending in Washington. I can only hope that once the bums are thrown out and replaced with fiscally responsibly pols, that this concern will still stand.

I doubt it, though, as evidenced by the lack of protesting that occurred when Bush was still in office.

But a guy can hope.
