I love it when tejas loses like everyone else except when it could jeopardize OU's chances later on. A tejas loss to Wyoming would not help us in any way.

I would not be one bit surprised if Wyoming wins this game. Laramie is college football hell.

Wyoming beat Weber State by 7 points in their season opener. You mean to tell me Wyoming has a chance to beat Texas? By the way, Weber St. threw for 320 yards on the Wyoming secondary

Texas by 50

think Boulder, then add around 2000 more feet of elevation

and there is no chance of a 3 way tie with BCS tiebreakers in our favor if they don't drop a non-conference game, so it could kinda help us :D

but yeah, beating a top 2 or 3 Texas team would help us a lot more

I would be surprised about Wyo winning, but I think the spread is too high (up around 32-33). I would not be surprised to see Wyo limit that to 14-20 points.

Weather in Laramie (always lovely) for Saturday is cloudy and temps in the upper 40's to low 50's with a 30% chance of rain.

If the spread was 50, I would bet Texas.

63-3, easy.

That being said, Texas is suck.

Fixed. On my way back from Yellowstone earlier this week I stopped in Laramie to get gas. At one station, the pump was running SLOOOOOOW, about 1/10th of a gallon per minute...no joke. The lady at the counter says, "oh, yeah, it does that when it gets cold". It was 63 degrees...isn't that typical Wyoming temperature? Went to the NEXT station, and it was the old-style pumps, no pay at the pump, and the store was closed...at 9:30 pm! I decided to chance it and go all the way to Cheyenne.

That's a BIG chance to take considering the distance between stations

Yeah, 50 miles and just under a quarter of a tank...made it with quite a bit to spare, actually. Lots of highway and downhill mountain driving got our MPG up in the mid 20s on a vehicle that usually gets 18-19.

That's what Tennessee thought last year. Or what Oklahoma thought last Friday.

I think that Texas will win (as I thought that Oklahoma would win last week), but I think Wyoming will surprise people. And maybe, just maybe, squeak out a win.

lmao LOVE IT.

Btw, I hope texas wins out till they play us. I'd hope for both Texas and OSU to be undefeated when we play them. That way when we win, it'll do a lot more for us in the polls.

Yeah. Isn't the new parity in college football great? Several division II schools beat division I schools every year, and this will increasingly be the case. Weber St. is pretty good, as division II schools go, and they are well-coached.

By the way, Weber St. threw for 320 yards on the Wyoming secondary

Each game is different, and Wyoming is sky-high for "the biggest game in Wyoming football history:"

Laramie is a tough place to play.

I know I'm pipe-dreaming, but if Wyoming knocked off #2 Texas, that would be a huge win for the Mountain West Conference.

Texas and the pukes play each other so that's not possible

It is possible if the pokes beat the horns. (we play each when they are undefeated)

So yeah, it is not possible :D

^yup. Took the words out of my mouth lol

And it is a very winnable game for OSU. They play @ Stillwater.

and i'm pretty positive OSU would be #2 if not #1 if they happen to be undefeated by the time they play us.

Then hopefully Nebraska can be undefeated too. I don't know if they play Texas or OSU before then, but going into Lincoln and beating an undefeated Nebraska team? I'll take it!

I was referring to OSU's history against the horns. I do believe the pokes can win the game for 3 1/2 quarters. Maybe this year they can finish.
