I know last year for UT-Chattanooga that it wasn't until Thursday that it showed up in the guide and you could order. I still did it over the phone. I looked yesterday and didn't see it in the guide; it usually shows up around the GP channels (I know the PPVs from last Saturday were there), something like 780?

I don't have a phone line either. But I order that way. Try it out with a movie to be sure yours would work that way.

I don't use a phone line but I get it to work because I have my DVR hooked up through the internet. You might want to try that.

I don't have a DVR either. When I first got DirectTV, I could not order just using the remote. But they must have done something to change that. Because now I can. Just can't preorder with the remote. Gotta wait until the time that it's available.

Interesting.... I'll try with my remote first. When I order a movie, I have to wait until it starts to order. Can't preorder with remote. This will be a first time for a sporting event. I'll let you know if it works.

I just scanned ahead on my DirecTV schedule and it said the 1pm Nebraska game is 29.95 and the OU game on the same channel starting at 6pm is 39.95. A ticket to the OU game in person is $49. I'll be listening to Bob and Merv for free.

I'll be in Norman next week for the Tulsa game, so going to this one is out. Had to order it: online and it was 39.95. I ordered the PPV games in '06 (MTSU) and '08 (UT-Chat) and attended the '07 game against Utah State. Price keeps going up for these stupid PPVs, but it's better than not getting to see it all :) I don't think I'd pay more than $40 though.

Well, I was able to order using my remote. Gonna sit back and enjoy the game. Was watching a great game UH over the Pokes. Guess the SI curse continues.
