I thought he played pretty well. He made some big catches. Hopefully some of the other receivers step up.

With Brody back at TE, I think the he and Rat will make a good team

They are all going to have to get more physical in the run game, getting separation on pass plays...and knowing when to break off the route and come back to help the quarterback..

I can see why Broyles is in the slot...he has a long ways to go before playing a 1 or 2

Agreed. We need Adron to step up if he can. And if he can't, get Miller and Caleb out there. They made plays!

We need a go to receiver.

Pooh needs to work on his hands.

Concentration problems not just in the oline but this group too..I liked what I saw out of Miller myself..big target out there.

So, who is playing the slot WR?

You say Caleb. I say bright spot.

yeah, Caleb played well. If the offense can get Tennell going (maybe first game jitters?) we'll be fine.

I also think Landry will light up some defenses in the meantime.

Tennell had his shot.

Get somebody else in there.

I have to agree with this... I think Miller, Caleb, and Broyles should be the top3

There is a reason he has been here for 4 years and finally is sniffing the field.

Injury and great talent infront of him

I agree, I liked what I saw of Caleb the other night. He seemed to be the most consistent for some reason.

Caleb, Broyles and Miller... give them the start.

Sounds like Stoops is going back to square one and leaving it to competition out there. Didn't Saban do this his first year at 'bama... he had 10 true freshman starting.

Make them perform and earn the spots. Who would have thought we were thin at center and now tight end?

I've been wondering about that, too. I don't think all is lost. We have proven playmakers in Murray, Chris Brown and Madu, along with Broyles - all of whom can make something happen if they get in space.

I think the OL will have to step up and play error free football, but no reason we can't score some points.

Just get someone out there that can catch a ball that hits him in the hands. We had way too many dropped passes. And it didn't seem to be limited to one person.

I wrote off Caleb long ago. Yet, he was the only receiver that looked like he was worth a damn on Saturday. Kudos to him.

He looked OK. But, IMO, none of them looked like a #1 major college football receiver.

Tennell needs to follow the old rule that if you touch the ball you catch it.
