He says Gresham is going to have surgery to see whats going on with the knee, and if it's just a loose piece or something like that in there, then he should be back within a couple weeks, but if he needs stitches on the cartilage, it will be the end of the season for him. We will know by tonight.

Gresham undergoing athroscopic surgery today... Multiple MRIs have not shown any abnormalities, so it *could* be something as easy as some sort of foreign body in the joint (bone chip? I have no idea -- I'm not an MD). If that's the case, it should be a quick return. However, they may also find that they need to fix some cartiledge, which would require ~5 mos recovery (i.e. he'd be out for the season).

Re: Bradford... No rotator cuff problems, nothing other than the AC join sprain. He mentioned a typical recovery of 2-4 weeks before he's back on the football field. I have a feeling they are going to want him to be tip-top shape for the Texas game, so they may be conservative to make sure he's ready for UT.

I could see Sam coming back for Miami. We have Idaho St, Tulsa, bye week, then Miami, which is 4 weeks away. Thats a competitive game, so i'm sure he'll want, and maybe need to come back.

Balogun practicing a little, still no word on his status.
They are giving the other guys the majority of the snaps.

Wouldn't even touch Bradford. Refused to comment and start a firestorm of predictions.

Also mentioned that it was too dangerous for Gresham to be on the sidelines last week because he couldn't get out of the way fast enough if a play spilled off the field... Poor guy

They need to give Gresham a John Deere Gator or a golf cart or something so that he can still be down there with his team but also have the mobility to crush opposing players that get in his way :D

I'm interested to hear about why the other Sam and QC switched spots. NTTAWWT... just wondering why the punisher got moved to watching the ball and the cover guy got moved to the role of the big hitter.

I can say I'm confident in either QB... still not sold on the OL, the WR corps and especially not on the TE passing game.

Gerald McCoy said that he personally wants the game to come down to the defense getting a stop, because he feels that they let the team down in the BYU and Miami game. Oh, and look at the threads for the best news....
