Nichol completed nine of 18 passes, two for touchdowns against Michigan State's cupcake opponent.

Too bad for Keith it was probably wasted effort since the starting quarterback completed 10-17 for three touchdowns, and he had a better completion percentage and yards-per-attempt than Nichol . . .
