that's about 1 Championship every 16 years, so we are still ahead of schedule. Florida has 3 championships, but never has gone undefeated in all of their history. Perspective, perspective, and more perspective folks.

I still wanna box Max Hall's funny looking ears though. :D

Actually, there weren't any national titles 'til the AP started doing 'em in, what was it, 1932? So, more like 77 years -- which means we should be winning 'em every 11 years. But, sure, in theory we should take a breath and have more realistic expectations ;)

Have to go and figure out when the law of averages suggest that the Cubs are going to win again and pit that against my actuarial tables to see how long I'm going to last
