I don't know if this has been posted yet.....check out this trash, it was a link provided by ESPN this morning.

Especially this paragraph....
Under Brown, this program has been the model of consistency, producing double-digit wins eight consecutive seasons. Mack's won five straight bowl games and all three BCS games. He owns Oklahoma. So good, he's taken for granted.

When did this happen?

Maybe he bought a lot of property in Oklahoma with all of the mediocre consistency they pay him for.

I dont' think you'll ever get an answer to that question....


It's the one variable that keeps Brown from being able to stand next to Pete Carroll and Urban Meyer and those showoffs as one of the best college coaches in America. He's kicking it in every other category, save that pesky absence of conference titles, of course, which we won't mention.

The bar must have really been lowered in Austin, since a couple conference titles is all it takes nowadays to become "legendary".
