I actually started tearing-up during this morning's ESPN College Gameday opening. It's so wonderful to be alive in this, the most splendid month on the whole calendar. It's well and truly football season peeps!

I've tried to keep quiet, but this Shi-ite is really driving me nuts. My Dish Network box died Wednesday night, and the replacement isn't here yet.

So I missed the Oregon-Boise game, which I'd looked forward to as a symbolic opening to the season. And I'm going to be watching the *actual* opening at my mother-in-law's house.

This blows.

But at least everyone over there knows to leave me the fudge alone when the Sooners are on.

My wife was up before me this morning eating breakfast. I come out of the bedroom with a big grin on my face, and she says, "Merry Christmas! Do you want me to turn it on to Gameday for you?"

I love my wife, she is teh awesomes!

My eyes peeled themselves out of my head and punched me in the face for turning it on College Gameday during the Tebow praising.
