i wouldnt say that was really all that optimistic. if anything, he just went over all the ways in which we are better on paper and basically said it would be a shock if BYU won

In Mormondom, there are a lot of common names: Monson, Jensen, Hansen, Young, Smith. My ex was Mormon (and and OU fan), and everywhere we would go, there would be a Mormon family by one of those five names.

There's kinda a lot of that here where I live as well with Mennonites.
