I helped weigh 180 or so market animals tonight for the 4-H beef show at the Nebraska State Fair. I'm covered in a reasonable amount of ****, cut in several places, bruised in several more, and more worn out than I used to be from spending an evening working cattle. I think my office job is making me soft. At least my natural cattle handling instincts are still intact. Good thing I'll be buying cattle this fall to start rebuilding my herd.
