you may laugh...Braum's.

I've tried all the others, even some primo home grown from the local butcher.

nothing comes close. add some onions, hot mustard and shredded cheese.

I'm in heaven Jerry.

if only the Indy 500 was on.

Nope, Slovacek Jalapeno from Sam's. Aren't Braums links just repackaged Schwab's?

I agree my T-town brutha. if you've got a hankerin' for spicy, red, pureed pig lips and peckers, you can't beat Braums. BTW, you tried the hot links they've recently introduced to that hot food roller-thingy at QT yet? Dang good for hot lips and peckers on-the-go.

Which reminds me, Quik Trip alone, completely irrespective of our Tulsa hills and trees, means, you know...

Slovacek is what Dean (Mrs Dean!) uses at the tailgates.

Slovs are good and the Braum's are good. The Scwabs are good also. Pick any of those and you can't go wrong.

Two things...the cheapest are some of the best.

Do they have that cheesy red lining?

Can you see the red pepper flakes through the casing?

If so, you are good to go!

Even though he is a Whorn, the Earl Campbell Hot Links are pretty good.

Sam's (http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=182629) and Wal-Mart (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10324441) have them, I have seen them up there in the past.

Dis.

Trust me, I've grilled or smoked pretty much every type of sausage or hot link out there. For flavor, heat, and most importantly, consistency, you simply cannot beat the Slovacek's Jalapeno sausages. If you're at this week's tailgate, you'll get to sample them. Make sure you're eating a Jalapeno sausage and not just the smoked sausage. Mrs. Dean makes them both for the pussified folks. Wrap them in a tortilla with some cheese, mustard, and a little relish, and you've got hog heaven.
