As a long time Sooner fan the one of the things I miss from the Tubbs days is the (mid to late conference schedule) out of conference tussles.......

Does this mean we can start a countdown here as soon as the football countdown comes to a close?

OK, so the season starts Nov. 3. So the season is EXACTLY two months away from today.

There are 30 days in September and 31 days in October.

27+31+3= 61.

Or should that be 60 since the day of the game is zero? Anyway, someone who is better at math than me better start the countdown thread here. Today! Come on! Start it!

I thought basketball STARTED in January.You mean they actually play hoops during FOOTBALL season? When did that start? :)

The game I've been waiting for since Capel's arrival is FINALLY on the schedule: OU v. VCU, November 21. Works out well for us -- free place to stay, and since we'll be in Oklahoma for Thanksgiving, it will be a nice pre-holiday visit with Hubbie's parents.

Single game tickets go on sale mid-October!!!

The game I've been waiting for since Capel's arrival is FINALLY on the schedule: OU v. VCU, November 21. Works out well for us -- free place to stay, and since we'll be in Oklahoma for Thanksgiving, it will be a nice pre-holiday visit with Hubbie's parents.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but you do realize the game is IN Virginia, right?

What's the latest on the ball team? How's Tiny doing? Didn't TMG have a minor injury that kept him out of some Summer work outs? Anybody know of any updates on these guys or the rest of the team for that matter?
