Every Game is 21-17ish

They really need to get Bradford and tell Favre to stay on the farm.

MN might be the new best team in the NFL....

A little premature to say that, but they should be improved, at least. And as long as Favre doesn't force too many throws.

I know; I almost slapped myself when I typed that. He's been pretty good about it in this game. Who knows how long that will last, though.

The announcers were getting all gay because he used his throwing arm to make a block......how dumb. Props to Brett on the block though, he wouldn't try to hurt anyone...

The Brett Favre commercial is hilarious.

Belly laugh. The best part was the attitude of the characters - obviously exasperated they had to cover the story (again).

But Favre looked pretty good, I must admit.

AD is in his third season and still people are calling him AP. Heard it three or four times this morning on ESPN. GEEEE WHIZZZ

I was not fond of the Favre block. Could have ended that guy's career there. He's a 19-year veteran and while I realize he was (let's see what was that weird quote? ahh here we go) "weedwacking 13 days ago," you'd think he'd have known blocking rules after all the times he's seen blocking under center.

The honeymoon will be over soon when the interceptions outnumber the TDs. I wore my Ray Nitschke jersey last night during the game while glaring at the screen.

The stats aren't telling.. that TD pass belonged to Chester, not to the passer (it was behind the line of scrimmage for cripes sake). The Texans do not have a good defense and they were messing with No. 4 all game long (well, as long as he was in the game, that is).

EDIT: This is not to say that I am not all for our Sooner alums having wonderful careers. I can cheer for AD as a Sooner on his endzone sprint without feeling too guilty. Phil Loadholt will have a wonderful career ahead of him, I can tell already.

Gresho Murford

however, if somebody would have done that to Favre, Brett would be crying about it today on the news

Man, I wish! I would LOVE to see a playoff game at Reliant, but they need to make some corrections in the run defense category.

I don't think the block by Favre was cheap. It looked like inexperience to me (yes, from a 19 yr vet). He looked indecisive on the block and ducked at the last second. He could have hurt the defender and himself as he took the knee to his back. I doubt Favre has been flanked out many times with blocking responsibilities - they should scrap that play right now.

Anyone know what happened to Loadholt after that first TD run? I didn't see a lot of him, with the 1st team after that. Seems like there was another RT that got a lot of snaps with the first team. I had heard speculation that Phil had a minor leg injury.

I have no idea, but I did see him leave the game and not come back.
