And what better way to start than to ELIMINATE the band?

Admittedly, they sucked...

but they were there!
BTW, note the comments from Chronarch50MG (Which is a Shimano fishing reel, it seems.)
If you go to the EffEyeYew athletics site and get at look at the mugshots of the football staff you'll really be impressed...not.

College Football will be a better place when all the bands are eliminated. Same goes for cheerleaders and dance teams. Also, ties need to be brought back.

Actually, FIU tried to eliminate cheer too, but a deal was struck to preserve it, at least for now.

I'm pretty sure they already are based upon the last seasons results.

The Rice Band the MOB I don't think are on scholarship, yet get together for games. The don't practice much but they are rather entertaining. But then again Rice students are pretty smart and don't need much practice.

After watching FIU Band I wouldn't give them a scholly either. Nowhere near the Pride. BTW I think the Band and Cherleaders are part of college football, I'm not so sure about horsepigs.
