September 3 North Dakota State
September 12 No. 22 Iowa
September 19 at Kent State
September 26 Army
October 3 Kansas State
October 10 at No. 25 Kansas
October 17 Baylor
October 24 at No. 24 Nebraska
October 31 at Texas A&M
November 7 No. 9 Oklahoma State
November 14 Colorado
November 21 at Missouri

If ISU can beat rival Iowa "at home", then they have a legit shot at being 5-0 to start the season. They also play A&M and have Baylor and Colorado home. There is a "shot" that if they have a decent season at all that Iowa State could finish 6-6 and "maybe" make a bowl game. Wow. The 12th best team in the Big 12 has a shot to make a bowl game. I wonder how many conferences could even attempt to say that.

The Cyclones might as well go bowling its not like they will have anything else to do after November. :D

If not this year when? Would they have a better chance when the get OU and sa*et in their South Division schedule rotation?

No. Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa still have them this year. Rebuilding...

Yeah, just to clear it up, I dont thing they will. I think they will be be 4-8 this year. But there is a shot in the dark that they make it. The question is....will ISU finish with a similar or better season than the 12th team in the SEC?

Iowa State's seen too much transition lately. Lack of stability, combined with a lackluster team... blah blah blah... no bowl.

Next question: Will Colorado have 10 wins (and no excuses)???

Sun, Sep 06 COLORADO STATE
Fri, Sep 11 at Toledo
Sat, Sep 19 WYOMING
Thu, Oct 01 at West Virginia
Sat, Oct 10 at Texas
Sat, Oct 17 KANSAS
Sat, Oct 24 at Kansas State
Sat, Oct 31 MISSOURI
Sat, Nov 07 TEXAS A&M
Sat, Nov 14 at Iowa State
Thu, Nov 19 at Oklahoma State
Fri, Nov 27 NEBRASKA

IMHO, I see at least two losses in there... so maybe with a bowl and another Big 12 championship over Texas? :D

Let's do a real quick breakdown...

1. they have a new coach.
2. Their talent pool is really weak.
3. They are Iowa State.

September 3 North Dakota State W
September 12 No. 22 Iowa L
September 19 at Kent State W
September 26 Army L
October 3 Kansas State L
October 10 at No. 25 Kansas L
October 17 Baylor L
October 24 at No. 24 Nebraska L
October 31 at Texas A&M L
November 7 No. 9 Oklahoma State L
November 14 Colorado L
November 21 at Missouri L

After looking at their schedule, they will be hard pressed getting 3 wins on the year.

There is no chance for ISU to go to a bowl game.....actually NDSU will surprise them just like they did to the Gophers two year ago!

They may be going bowling at Ames Lanes, or whatever the local bowling alley is called, but thats about the only place.

They look pretty foolish for letting Dan McCarney go. It least that dude had them in bowl games.

I'll say maybe!!! Because I've seen crazier things happen!! Like when ND played in a BCS game with 4 losses!!
