Many of you may remember this as the gootball thread.
OU has an overall record of 788-300-53(791-297-53 on the field-OU had to forfeit (3) 1972 games) OU ranks 8th all time in D-1 wins,5th in winning %(.714).
OU has a record of 544-158-13 in the MODEN ERA(since WW2) This win total is #1 as is the .758 %.
Ou has SEVEN consensus National Titles and a total of 24 assorted National Titles(I personally refer to the other 17 titles as Bama -style NCs and don't put much stock in them). OU has won 41 conference titles(they would have 42 but forfeited the 1972 Big 8 title).
OU has been ranked polls 676 of 969 polls since the establishment of the AP in 1936.OU has been #1 in 97 polls ,more than ANY other school.OU has been ranked in the Top 5 369 times and Top 10 501 times,both of which rank #1 among D-1 teams.In addition OU has appearred in 50 of 73 final polls ranking #3 on this list.
