They are showing that the Dallas game is on Fox, but the Vikings game is not on TV. Does anybody know if it will be on 360 or what?

Most of the pre-season games are on local networks.
NFLNetwork shows the replays, sometimes beginning shortly after the game is over. Its on Cox Digital in Oklahoma.
Check the NFLnetwork website for the schedule.
And remember its only pre-season. Lots of rookies vs rookies and wannabes.

Also check www.justin.tv

Don't forget Phil and Jon. We need to root for Jon to make the team.

Watchin' the Chiefs game now... the team they're playing against spent $25 mil on a 39-year-old quarterback who threw their first round draft pick a pass short of the first down marker.

On that note, I need a girlie beer

Natty's girlie? I'm going with Mike's Pink Lemonade.

I will tune into the Titans game soon --- watching VY screw up again will cheer me up a tad :)

For those who are interested I made and NFL logo schedule (similar in concept to the CFB helmet schedule). It is by week, the times are Central Time Zone.

Tavaris Jackson is an idiot.

For those that know nothing about football, it would appear that Tavaris is a quality QB, completing two long distance passes for large gains on his first two throws in the game.

...but for the more educated, yes, Tavaris is an idiot - throwing the ball juuuuust outta bounds and throwing it three yards beyond the LoS.

I am surprised he was the 2nd guy in... where's Sage?

I must... say I heard a lot of cheering when TJ made that pass, even if it was outta bounds... and a bit of booing when the first guy was failing on his second attempt to at least get a first down.

Jerry and his ridiculous ego. I'm sure he was told about the height of the scoreboard many times during construction, but GD IT, HE WANTS HIS 60 YARD LONG SCOREBOARD, if it affects the game being played, well that's just too bad!

bluedogok, I really like that NFL schedule, but for some reason when I pull it up all 32 teams aren't on each week. Am I reading it wrong?

Having sat near the top of several stadiums and seen pumps go above where I'm sitting in height, this did not surprise me at all. What's surprising is nobody seems to have thought about it beforehand... according to Jones in a few news stories I've read that mention the incident, it was approved by the NFL and he does not intend to raise it. Punters are just going to have to deal with it. :(

I'm predicting Jon Cooper at least makes the practice squad.

The vikings have an established starting center and another starting lineman can switch to play center if needed. But it would make sense to have Jon there to play center against the defense in practice and be ready to activate if the starter is injured.

Punt hits video screen at new Cowboys Stadium

I understand the why of having giant video screens in a stadium but . . .

. . . a part of me thinks the whole purpose of going to the stadium is that you can watch the game without any kind of video screen.

Yeah, someone was quoted in the Oklahoman as saying that people, especially in the upper decks, will be very tempted to watch the game on the screen instead of on the field. Like you said, it kinda defeats the purpose of going to the game.

Well not really, going to the game is entirely different than watching from home or the bar... Its all about the atmosphere IMO

Okay, it semi-defeats the purpose. Yes, you're still technically part of the crowd and can make noise, but at the same time if you're watching the game on the screen it's not the same as watching the action unfold on the field.
