That Balogun's lawsuit will trump the NCAA and allow him to play this season??

Its seems like the NCAA has been on a Roger Goodell power trip the last few years!! I just dont see a county court beating a NCAA ruling.

If I was Balogun, 1st, I'd start ANOTHER thread about myself. Then I'd transfer to USC so that the NCAA would grant me 3 more years of eligibility so I could play college football.

I think Balogun has about as much chance playing this season as I do.

Agreed. It's a stupid rule on eligibility, but it seems pretty clear at this point that it applies to him.

I really don't see why they should punish kids for semi-pro like this. It ain't even arena ball.

If the NCAA were on a power trip something would have happened to USC by now.

Even if Balogun wins on Monday in District Court the NCAA will appeal and a final decision will not be reached until 2014 or until Balogun is 30.

So the Stoops won't play'em, because between now and 2014 there's alot of info to be gained. I would play em, win the championship, and let them bitch about it 4-5 years from now.

Then the championship would be gone.

Mike B. should have went to USC or Theeee Ohio State, he would get to play this season if he would of. I am very glad we found out he wasn't eligible before the season started. I feel for him because he missed the draft, I still have a little hope he can prove he didn't play after he turned 21. We need the depth.

I think he should get the same lawyer that Reggie Bush is using.

His chances seem to be getting better every day that goes by it seems his lawyer finds some new information that will help his case.

Try thinking real hard about why the NCAA would ever come up with a rule like this...If you know anything about why bylaws are written for COLLEGE athletics maybe it will occur to you. It's actually quite obvious really. I myself am not sure it is fair(or necessary), but there is a reason for it.........Think about it....................
